Since its inception in July 2000, the Kenya National Cleaner Production Center (KNCPC) has undertaken a total of over 50 Cleaner Production Assessments (CPAs)/ Environmental Audits (EAs) in different industrial and service sub sectors namely compressed gas manufacture, Roofing and Floor tiles, Manufacture, mattress manufacture, manufacture of pharmaceuticals, flour milling, tobacco manufacture, electronics assembly, printing, edible oil refining, soap manufacturing, electroplating, leather tanning, printing works, manufacture of plastic packaging materials, textile, manufacture of mosquito coils, paper conversion, timber processing, and natural products processing.
